I have to admit, TX was not my favorite place to visit. But, after staying here for 4 months while my husband was working, I changed my mind about TX (not to mention, we found a great church to visit also). This rv park was awesome! It has a nice lake to kayak & fish in (caught several nice size bass). It is quiet, safe, has a clean pool, nice office, game room, laundry room & showers. It is big enough to get lots of dog walking in & also has a small dog park & a nice playground for kids. The owner, attendant, Sherri, & other campers were so friendly. I would definitely stay again & recommend to family & friends. Thanks Woodsy Hollow for helping me love TX!

Best place to take my kids swimming around town for sure. The people who work here are so helpful and always been great with us.

we only stayed 1 night so they put us up front in a "grass field" area with hookups. only problem was we couldn't find the sewer, she offered to move us in the grounds but i was ok with no sewer. the girl in the office was very nice on the phone and upon check in. from what i saw there was a lot of permanent residents but the grounds looked very "woodsy" we didnt get to see the lake but i bet it was nice. the grounds were quiet at night and we had a good sleep. my only gripe was there was a lot of sand in the grassy area we parked in,so the trailer was loaded with sand the next day. i would recommend for an overnight , looked good for a camping place too. price was right - 30 bucks for 2 kid 2 adults.

I have been coming to this wonderful little campground since 1994. Knew the original owner and now have the pleasure of knowing current owners. This is a wonderful family oriented park. Safe place to visit or live. Has definitely become my families home away from home.
